Cellphone and Internet Safety Workshop hosted by Parents Corner

This workshop aims to provide parents with a better understanding of the technology used by their children. The issues to be addressed in this workshop are:

Speakers:
Dr Pieter Streicher: "Practical tips for managing your child's technologies"
Pieter is the managing director of BulkSMS.com, a wireless application service provider and sponsor of Parents Corner. He sits on the the management committee of the Wireless Application Service Provider Association (WASPA), the body that regulates the South African mobile messaging industry. Pieter is married with two children.
Hannelie Kotze: "Parenting in the digital era"
Hannelie is an educational psychologist focusing on children and adolescents, mainly in the area of behavioural problems, teenage depression, learning disorders, school readiness, autistic spectrum disorders, trauma counselling, forensic assessments and play therapy. Hannelie has 10 years of experience in special education and is now in private practice at Milnerton Medi-Clinic.
